Looking forward to seeing her during autumn. On Monday her friend John Ruskin dined with them, "much stronger than when we met in Piedmont six or seven years ago." He is a very interesting person, and his book [sic] is much thought of in Edinburgh. She should "continue to keep him at Bowerswell for some days." There has been no news from Marion [Mrs. John Jameson] for some time. News of mutual friends. His love to Phemy and George.
