Summary
Thanking her for the note and box: the lace will be most useful. Mrs. Ruskin has complimented her on being a good correspondent. She has seen more of Mr. MacDonald, who is "too good to live"; she regrets she will not be here when he comes to visit on the 16th. She has met the Trevelyans and Miss Buckland; tomorrow Mr. and Mrs. Lyell are coming, but she and Mrs. Ruskin are going into town. She will arrange to see the Miss Rutherfords so that she will have a new crinoline when the Gardners take her to the Chiswick Ft̊e. Will her mother please thank Mr. Tasker for having called?
