Summary: 

Thanking him for his kind and opportune present [£10] since she needs lighter garments for warm weather. Her enjoyment of music and sights at Anniversary of the Charity Schools, held in St. Paul's. Her regret at having been out when Mr. Tasker paid his second call. She saw the Gadesdens at a lecture by Dr. Lindley, the botanist. Mr. [George] M[a]cDonald is now calling on the Ruskins, who are most kind to her. Every evening she plays Mr. and Mrs. Ruskin to sleep. She has told the Parkers she will be unable to visit them, though they "are very anxious for my coming."
