Summary
Expressing sympathy for her mother on the death of her uncle (Major John St. Clair Jameson, d. Bombay, 23 March 1847, according to enclosed printed announcement). Mrs. Ruskin agrees with her in feeling that no being in Perth, she need not go into mourning. Her plans to visit the Pagets, the Parkers, the Potters are still unsettled. With the Ruskins she has enjoyed a large party at the Academy and a trip to Norwood. To celebrate Mr. Ruskin's birthday, they will have as dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Bolding, Dr. and Mrs. Richardson, and Mr. Harrison.
