Summary
Apologizing for not writing him sooner; she thought he shared letters with her mother. In six weeks she takes examinations and is expected to learn "the whole history of Egypt" by studying "every two or three minutes between classes"; it is extremely difficult. George writes that Mr. Ruskin leaves for Italy on May 16; she wishes she were going, for "it must be delightful." George ought to enjoy his holiday with the Parkers, who wish her to go with them to Forest Hills. She would like to know about the new house and summer plans; if she is to come home, she would like to bring Louisa Parker and Mary Paget. Through steady practice, her voice has grown stronger, though she suspects her music master of flattery. Faded.
