Noting that now that she is back at school, she can only write letters once a week, so she will write George and her mother every fortnight. She is much disappointed that she must room not with the Parkers but with a girl universally disliked and a girl who has not yet arrived. Avon Bank is much as it used to be except that they will now have more to do, more regularly. She thinks she will benefit greatly through talking German with a girl who speaks little English.
