Saying they miss Mr. Harrison, but he does not ask friends to visit, "for an hour is sometimes too much for me," though he managed two hours with George to Tom Richmond, Furnwall, and others, when they came "by chance, not by invitation." The relief he is promised comes slowly, but he thanks God it is no worse. "Mrs. Ruskin can do anything but walk. I hope her health continue little injured--John is of no place certain but gains snatches out of many places of work & of Rest & I think is in higher tone than on leaving us.
