Summary
Asking if he should tell Spottiswoode [the printer] to leave proofs [of Modern Painters III & IV] at 33 Bridge St. [Mr. Harrison's business address], or should he post them to Camberwell? "At Billiter Street we do not encourage calls or messages unconnected with office business & I am afraid to disturb no. 33 by the nearly daily visits of printers Deirla." His son "will not look" at a proof "till it has passed your critical Eye--pray tell me your will and pleasure..."
