Asking for a summary, on one sheet, of the "Orders that we have received from various Public Offices, and of all the Regulations that have been circulated during the last three months; declining to comply with his request for a memorandum of the common issues of agreement with the Local Militia Corps; suggesting that Commanding Officers in the Local Militia be supplied with duck trousers instead of shoes which would save the government "a shilling per man" and be more acceptable.
