Summary
Writing "...from her Majesty's high stool in the Council Office;" informing Tennyson that "The best collection of Welsh books is, I am told, to be found in the Library of the Gwyneddigin Society in London - An uncle of mine, to whom I wrote, would be very glad to furnish you with means for an introduction to it. Either through him or other people it would [be] easy to get access to it, when you come to London next;" relating news of his visit to Swanston "...where we only found the Patmores & the priest;" adding, in a postscript, that he will send him a Welsh book if he can get it and asking him to let him know if he would like to visit the Gwyneddigin Society.
