Summary
Reporting that he is "in perfect Readiness to move, and as I daily expect Gen'l Sullivan's Order for that Purpose, I request that you would not send off any Provisions from Schenectady except what is actually on the Way, as I believe we have with us as much as will answer our purpose - I intend setting off for the Lake [Otsego] in the morning with every thing now on the Ground."
