Relating intelligence on the British fleet and suggesting that the intelligence provided to the British "will be via England which will necessarily occasion great Delay. - The Vermont Business is not yet decided tho' I am well assured that a great Change of Sentiment has taken Place in Congress respecting that Controversy & that the Revolters have but few advocates left;" expressing an interest in a tract of land near Fort Schuyler, asking for specific details of the tract of land on which Fort Schuyler stands; sending his regards; adding in a postscript, "Burn my Scrolls when you have read them as they are too incorrect to be laid by."
