Summary
Sending him a copy of the Lancet "...which contains a report of my Manchester address fuller than that which appeared in the Times article altho' by no means full. The address will require a good deal of licking into shape before it is fit to appear in a separate form and in that connexion I shall be greatly indebted if you will favour me with references to those of your writings in which you deal most directly with its subject matter."
