Thanking her for sending his letters to "mademoiselle Custrin," his "maîtresse," and noting that he has "une passion secrette" for her despite her infidelities and caprices; also thanking her for the toile and noting that they made bed curtains with it; wishing he could see the royal highnesses perform their comedies in verse; praising the appearance of "madame la duchesse."
