Requesting the return of his manuscripts for the short story "The hands of Mr. Ottermole" and the "film play" entitled "Francesca of Little Italy", as the first has been with the recipient for three months and he therefore assumes "that it is not the kind of story American magazines like" and the second "seems another useless thing".
