Summary
France is writing to the recipient on the back of a sonnet announcing world peace by the Chilean positivist philosopher Juan Enrique Lagarrigue. To oppose peaceful positivism with mystical and bellicose Christianity, France is sending the recipient a copy of the Revue Chretienne. However, he urges him not to read one article that will get on his nerves. He requests that the recipient remind Madame Sevastos [Anthippe Sevastos Couchod] about “Les Statues de Jardin” and hopes that she will be able to acquire a copy for him at a reasonable price.
