Summary
Writing upon her return to London from Germany and Switzerland, asking after her health and that of Mr. Bray, recounting her travels on the Continent, noting that the unusually hot weather induced them to change their plans and go further north to Regatz, and that they spent the last 2 months of their vacation in Switzerland and the Black Forest, where they "saw but one acquaintance, and he was a Berlin publisher [identified by Haight as Albert Cohn]."
