Summary
Asking him to do her the favor of franking "two or three packets" containing portions of the manuscript for the sequel to her children's' book "Harry and Lucy", which she wishes to send to friends in England to be corrected for her; mentioning the anxiety felt at home for her sister Lucy, "in whose side an abscess is forming; and recounting the extraordinary conduct of Lady Londonderry, who has been "astonishing the all the grand people of Dublin" by "riding thro' the streets in full regimental uniform, with a sword by her side ... on Bonaparte's own white charger reviewing her husbands regiment in the park along with his Lordship.", and adding that the officers of the 10th Regiment gave her a ball, where she "danced under the happy weight of one hundred and eight thousand pounds!"; asking that Jacob forward an enclosure to Mr. (Charles) Strickland, the land agent responsible for the management of Lord Dillon's Irish estates.
