Agreeing to contribute to a proposed anthology of prose to be compiled by the recipient, stating his hope that some "vivid autobiographical passages" might be included in the collection, and suggesting a number of authors and individual works that might be appropriate for the book; expressing his hope that the recipient's recently published poetry book is doing well, noting that a bookseller he knows has said that nothing is selling well in Ireland, and suggesting that he attempt to get an educational journal to take notice of the book.
