Summary
Concerning a letter received from (James Henry?) Watt suggesting that a meeting be called "at the rail road terminus to consider a new petition", and insisting that this proposed course of action would be utterly impracticable; noting that he has written (John?) Burnet a lengthy letter, proposing that one of two courses remain to them, namely, to "send the petition we have already, or let the matter drop", and complaining of the added strain the matter of the petition has placed upon him.
