Summary
Informing him that an article on his planned novel La Madre folle has been printed in the newspaper La Tribuna and includes incorrect information and insinuations. D'Annunzio tells Fabrizii that it is time for him to act. He has also included notes, among which is an early fragment of the work, which he thinks the Tribuna will like, and requests that Fabrizii transcribe it exactly as it worded, making necessary conrrections. He should destroy these confidential notes when he has finished using them. D'Annunzio will tell Augusto Ferrero, however, that he has given Fabrizii a fragment at Fabrizii's request.
