Summary
Concerning a recent communication informing him that it will not possible to put up a plaster statue of Lord Napier next week "because we could not get the permission of the vestry of St. James' at so short a notice", despite his understanding that permission had been prevously obtained to do so; informing the recipient that early June will not suit him as he is traveling to Italy, and noting that the Lord Mayor had expressed his wish that the statue be up by November.
