Reporting that he met the printer of his Le Peintre de la Modernite [renamed Le Peintre de la vie moderne] and that he wants whatever he has composed as soon as possible; requesting an announcement be put in [some publication] before it is published; emphasizing that they are not to reveal the identity of Guys (who insisted on not being named in the article) as the artist's grief at an accident in the family would make it a very bad time to violate his privacy and he would attribute the indiscretion to Baudelaire; with a P.S. noting that he has still not gotten rid of "l'infame Lévy".
