Writing as assistant secretary of Royal Geographical Society to acknowledge receipt of a letter announcing the establishment of an Institute of Commercial Geography and to inform the recipient that the council of the Society will not be able to review the letter until it meets again in November; with a suggestion, in response to the letter's expressed desire for the Society's approval and cooperation, that more information be provided in the interim concerning the new Institute's organization and plans for publications.
