Poem published as "A discontented mind," appearing as the second part of a poem in four parts, issued anonymously under the title "An address to the night", in the author's Poems : wherein it is attempted to describe certain views of Nature and of rustic manners. London : J. Johnson, 1790, page 125-128).
Manuscript tipped onto a backing sheet and accompanied by an example of the author's autograph excised from an autograph letter signed, no date, to an unidentified recipient, along with a typed biographical note and two clipped printed biographical entries from unidentified sources.
