Telling him he is mistaken in the information he sent her in his letter of 28 June. She did not order the release of goods belonging to the Duke that had been seized, nor order payment for damages as the Duke says he has been told. There has been a misunderstanding for not even the Emperor could discharge the goods and remit the security without payment to the third party at whose request the goods were seized, and she has so informed the English ambassador. This is in accordance with justice here.
