Letter from Pierre Reverdy, France?, to Paul Rosenberg, not after 1921? : autograph manuscript signed.

Stating that, in view of the magnitude [or importance] of the work Rosenberg has asked him to do [about Picasso], he spoke to Picasso. He says that Picasso in turn spoke to Rosenberg and then told him [Reverdy] about Rosenberg's offer (3000 francs), which Reverdy accepts. Reverdy asks for time to complete the job. He says it can't be done in just a few days--several months will be needed. He'll get to work on it right away and won't work on anything else. He adds that since he is in need of money, it would be good if Rosenberg could give him an advance, if possible.
