Summary
Saying that Monsieur Giedion went several times to Rosenberg's gallery to get a photographic proof of the Composition aux clefs (Composition with Keys) in order to reproduce it in a book. Leger says that the gallery asked for $2.50 for the proof. He has included a check for $3.00, to make a round number. He says that Rosenberg can send the photo to his studio. He'll pay for the delivery. Adds at the bottom: The proofs that he had made here [in New York] from two paintings in Rosenberg's gallery, one of which was Composition aux clefs, were for color photos requested by a museum and colleges in California. Handwritten note at bottom, presumably from Rosenberg: Don't deposit this check.
