Returning outlines of his portraits of the King and Sir Humphry Davy drawn by Mr. Warren (probably Charles Warren, 1767-1823) for engravings, expressing disappointment at the outlines, but admitting, "the Engraver's outline and the Painters differ so much, that the latter may often be mistaken in his first impression of the effort of the former."
