Concerning a drawing which Mr. Craven selected; saying "The Venice drawing you selected on the 2'd ins't is so much admired that I have had an offer of 160 Guineas for it. Now I shall be greatly obliged by your silence on the subject of price as it might lead to some confusion with reference to other matters - I was sorry to hear you lost the Dogana. May I suppose that your Commission for the 36.14 & 17 1/4 11 1/4 remain in force."
