Summary
Chiding him for sending him a copy of his book "...instead of letting me buy them. Which is foolish - heaven knows what riches might come your way if you didn't demolish your income like this. I saw the book (Finding My Way) in a friend's home and made a mental note to get a copy - now you have frustrated me. I'm delighted to have it of course and will read it next week I hope - I am half way through two books at the same time at the moment and musn't [sic] get further involved until one of them is finished. I'm so glad you've re-joined The Garrick (not that I turn up that often) but I think it's a good thing for you to do. Also you've got to be persuaded back into theatre and films. I'm here until the early new year - apart from an odd night in town - but the next time I'm up perhaps I can persuade you out to dinner."
