Summary
Thanking him for his letter and the packet of Parliamentary papers which was with it; saying "I know too well how much you have to do to be at all surprised that the request I made to you when I saw you to send me any interesting Parliamentary papers that might be published from the Colonial Office, w'd have escaped your memory - If I had known what papers had appeared I sh'd have applied to you for those relating to convicts which were what I most wished to see - I sh'd also rather like to see those relating to the Ionian Islands which you mention."
