Summary
Informing Rawlinson that he has met with "Cyrille Behnam Benni [Synan] Archbishop of Mosul" (probably Ignatius Behnam II Benni, ordained Archbishop of Mosul in 1862), who is returning from an ecumenical council; mentioning that he has given him his card, for an introduction to Rawlinson; writing that Behnam Benni is "well informed about the state of affairs at Mosul and gives us good information about antiquities in which he seems interested"; adding that there is apparently a new building in Mosul constructed from "ancient remains"; giving Rawlinson the Archbishop's address in London.
