Outlining an agreement for the production, in America, of a play he is writing; agreeing "...to finish my version within 6 months from Sept. 1 1907 and I understand that I retain the right of the play for 12 months following, that is, 18 months from Sept. 1. It is my present intention to play in the piece myself, but if for any unforeseen reason this should be impossible, I will not deal for the play with any but a recognised first-class management;" outlining the terms of an additional agreement if "the same version should be done in England."
