A number of the letters to Mrs. Cowper-Temple addressing her by a Greek name, or as Isola or Grannie, and signed with Ruskin's initials or the initials "St. C." Letter 66 has a watercolor drawing on p. 4; letters 67-8 are written to Dora Livesey who has copied them out for the Cowper-Temples; Letters 113, 115-16 are mainly in the hand of Joan Ruskin Severn; letter 121 is a letter from George Allen to Ruskin, 13 August 1872, with a note in Ruskin's hand.
