Summary
Saying that as he has no official connection with the Museum he was unable to answer Knight's recently inquiry about the Catalogue but adding "I have received the enclosed answer. I fear there can be little prospect of an application being successful, at least until it can be shown that the Library has been established for some time, and is doing good work. I am very sorry to learn that your accident was so serious. I hope that you will soon be entirely recovered by rest and change."
