Returning the proof of his remarks on Wordsworth and apologues written by his brother Sir Stephen De Vere which were privately printed; saying that his brother "...followed the example of Dryden's 'Hind & Panther' in making Beasts talk in the language of men;" mentioning his friend Mr. Reeve, Editor of the Edinburgh Review, who might like to do an article on Knight's new edition of Wordsworth; asking if he has seen the correspondence between Wordsworth, Lucy [illegible] and Sir William Rowan Hamilton in Mr. Graves's biography of Hamilton.
