Summary
Concerning the publication of Coleridge's correspondence with Principal Shairp; saying "You are very welcome to use any letters of mine so far as literature is dealt with in them as my personal relations with J.C.S. & the personal remarks I know you would not wish to publish unless - as I hope is the case- they are good natured - For one writes to an old friend just as if one was speaking to him & ones language may perhaps have & these be too unqualified. But any thing you think worth printing I am sure I can trust you to print - What you send me is better than I expected to find it."
