Summary
Apologizing that the transcript he promised him "...is but little nearer completion than when we last exchanged notes. It is not quite as bad as it looks however; for my dear daughter who is my amanuensis in this matter has both been abroad & out of health & waiting for her I have let the matter drift too long - But I will really set to work at once. As to the Wordsworth Society I did see the very interesting notice of the first meeting & I was glad to see that both Society & meeting were so successful."
