Summary
Concerning the American edition of Wordsworth's translation of Virgil; saying "I have looked at my American Wordsworth - The bit of translation from Virgil is the conclusion of the 1st Book of the Æneid. It appears to have been sent by Wordsworth with a note to Archdeacon Julius Hare the then Editor of the Philological Museum & to have been printed by him in that publication. Vol 1. p. 382 Cambridge 1832 - so that it is easily accessible & is clearly now publius juris;" suggesting ways to print the text with the alterations and notes; adding that he hopes to send him a transcript of everything that he is able to decipher in his noted copy.
