Summary
Relating news of his lecture tour in the United States; returning the articles he loaned him; saying they were "highly valuable, & with the information they supplied I was able soon to place myself in an intelligent attitude. My American tour has left memories of friendliness & hospitality of the wholly unique kind - Harvard was my original engagement & I stayed there 3 weeks. The other places had to be fitted into a fortnight. But I lectured (once or twice) at each of the following places: John Hopkins, Princeton, Columbia University, New York, also Vassar College. But I hope we may meet some time soon & compare notes. Just at present I am in a network of engagements & meetings & with arrears of letters."
