Summary
Arranging his arrival in Edinburgh to deliver a lecture and discussing the topic on which he'll speak; suggesting "If a popular & light type of lecture will not be out of place I w'd offer Luccan [sic] as a subject - I thought that this may be more appropriate under the circumstances than something grave & wise;" inviting him to stay with them when he delivers the opening address at the University Philosophical Society; thanking him for the volume on Hume he sent him.
