Summary
Concerning George Ramsay's suggestion of "...an informal meeting...of Professors from the various Universities to discuss the question of an Examination Board of Secondary Education for Scotland. Ramsay in concert with several Masters of Secondary Schools drew up certain proposals which he has had printed & of which you have probably received a copy. It is thought that these might form a basis of discussion;" asking that he mention the meeting to those of his colleagues who may be in Edinburgh on April 16th, the date of the proposed meeting.
