Summary
Concerning an address he gave; saying "Only about half of it was reported but the main argument was given. I s'd like to get this side of the question read in Scotland but I fear the Magazines w'd think it too local a matter. But I will think over the pamphlet, as you mention it. No doubt the "Scotsman" will be down on me tomorrow or next day & if it can't meet the arguments (which it never yet has attempted to do) it will sneer in its usual style & insinuate sordid motives;" thanking him for the invitation to visit after Christmas but saying they will be staying with someone else; adding "The Universities ought to have another conference, I think, on the Leaving Certificate. Chrystal here is exceedingly anxious to accept it at once. But the whole thing requires discussion."
