Summary
Telling Knight that he will get an estimate from Dunthorne about the cost of framing the portraits Knight has given to Dove Cottage: "I do not see why the things sh. not be framed by your arrival in Septr. at Dove Cottage, & be there to meet you"; suggesting that the rest of the prints donated by Knight be displayed in an album, which could also be prepared by Dunthorne; mentioning that he is just about to go abroad; informing him that the "doing up of the room -- bookcases -- heating, ventilation etc. is likely to cost about 150.0.0. I don't know where we can get the money"; suggesting that Knight write to his brother William Brooke in Dublin about the details of the renovation; discussing fundraising: "To get the money is the really important thing. I don't see why the Wordsworth family sh. not take some interest in the matter. [Elkin] Mathews says he will get 20.0.0 [George] Craik has promised 5.0.0"; giving Knight his address in Germany.
