Summary
Asking him to write "Mr. Heard" (possibly Reverend William Augustus Heard) to inform him of his election to the local committee and to send George Craik Heard's address "that he may be formally notified thereof"; writing that he thinks the new items that Knight is offering to Dove Cottage should be officially recorded in the minutes of the Trustees' meetings: "But in order to do this we should have a list of these wh. we might enter on the minutes. Would you send such a formal list to Craik, requesting him to retain it till the next meeting. I think this of importance"; mentioning his ill health, which has prevented him from going to the Athenæum Club.
