Summary
Congratulating Knight on recovering from an illness; informing him that there will be a meeting of the Dove Cottage Trustees the following Wednesday; discussing the progress made in furnishing the cottage; suggesting that Elkin Matthews and Dunthorne (who was responsible for framing the prints Knight had given to Dove Cottage) "had better house the things till their cases are ready"; putting forward "Graham" or Fisher Wordsworth for the vacant Trustee spot; assuring Knight: "Dove Cottage is, of course, insured! And when the books etc. are in -- we shall insure them."
