Summary
Writing of his bout of ill health and the effect on his work: "It is a combination which has driven me into giving up Bedford Chapel, & I only anticipate by two years or so the close of the Lease. I hope I shall get other preaching work to do before long, but there I could not carry on"; mentioning that he will be staying in Grasmere for a month and will afterwards return to London: "[I] shall be delighted to see you at Manchester Sq. where I shall still live for some months to come. I wish you were coming this way."
