Saying that he will send Knight proofs soon; writing that a number of people have agreed to take on positions, probably in the newly formed Dove Cottage Trust; adding that George Craik has promised to be the Treasurer; asking if Knight would join William Brooke (Stopford's brother) as Secretary: "W. can do the Irish work & will do all Secretarial work -- but it would be well to have your name as one to whom English persons could write; & who has command over the relatives of W.W. Think of this -- & answer when you get the proof."
