Summary
Informing him that the photograph is ready to be sent to him but due to the delays in producing it and the possible weather delays she asks for "amended directions if such should be needed. I have done my best to carry out your kind and flattering wish that my name should be associated with this small gift...but laugh at the contrast between my Father's beautiful signature and my own uncontrollably [illegible] writing...If however you rather would have me removed as clumsy, pray do and I could send you another of my Father's autographs should anything happen to this one in removing me; adding that she will not be offended if he removes her signature.
